1. Commitment to Kids' Privacy

PaintKid is built specifically for children aged 2-7. We are deeply committed to protecting their privacy and providing a safe, joyful environment. Our app complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. No Personal Data Collection

We do NOT collect any personally identifiable information from children. We don't ask for names, email addresses, phone numbers, or locations. All drawing progress and settings are stored locally on your device.

3. Child-Safe Advertising

PaintKid uses AdMob to show ads. To ensure safety:

• We have flagged our app as "Child-Directed" in the Google AdMob console.
• We only serve ads with a maximum content rating of "G" (General Audience).
• We do NOT serve personalized ads or follow interest-based tracking for children.

4. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)

On iOS 14.5 and above, you may see a request for permission to track your activity. We request this to help optimize ad delivery. However, for users identifying as children, tracking is disabled by default regardless of consent to comply with COPPA/GDPR.

5. Parental Gate

All links to external sites, settings, and purchase options are protected by a "Parental Gate" (a math problem or complex gesture) to ensure that only grown-ups can access them.
